The Bootstraps docuseries, led by Emmy-winning director Deia Schlosberg and co-creator Conrad Shaw, explores how human potential thrives through the stories of 11 diverse U.S. households during a groundbreaking, multi-year basic income experiment.
Ten years in the making, Bootstraps is an intimate, human-centered exploration built around the question: what happens when we trust people with a steady income floor, no strings attached?
Inspired by the Bootstrappers’ lived experiences, we’re creating spaces for honest conversation about the potential impact of universal basic income (UBI) on everyday people like you.
