The Bootstraps UBI Trial is Complete!

I wanted to reach out to our followers with an exciting bit of news:
The Bootstraps two-year basic income pilot has officially completed!
The last Bootstraps participant began his basic income two years ago today.
That’s 21 Americans from all walks of life who spent the last two years with a guarantee of enough financial security to be above the poverty line, even before earning income from work or other sources.
Fortunately, we were able to raise additional funding to extend beyond the two years of the initial filming timeline, so all of the Bootstrappers are still receiving basic incomes during these difficult times of quarantines and social unrest.
Deia and the documentary team are busy editing away to bring the docuseries to fruition. COVID threw a wrench in the works for a time, but things are still moving forward with the task of assembling this heaping mountain of footage together.
